I’ve been training, off and on, to run a half marathon. I say off and on because, well, it’s true. At one point I could comfortably run 7 miles. It was AWESOME!! Today, maybe even as you read this, I am going to try and get to 3 miles. So, why did I stop working out/running? Well, life happened. Instead of making time for exercise, I made excuses as to why I couldn’t.
I know once I start to feel that runners high again I won’t have to “force” myself to make time for running, I will CRAVE it! Yea, very excited for that moment, haha! As way to push myself I have registered for the Somerville Jinglebell 5k Race and the Southie St. Paddy’s Day 5k, which I’ve participated in for the last 2 years.
So, why am I telling you all this?! Well for starters, now that I have put it out there, in the land of internet, I have to hold myself to it! Then, of course being the “more the merrier” kind of person, if any of you out there want to join me, LET’S DO IT! But, most importantly, I thought it would be fun to talk about running considering today’s featured bride is a MARATHON runner!! Can you say jealous?! I am!
Heather and Shaunn had an positively beautiful wedding day! Take a look and see what I mean …
One day, when it’s my turn, I’m going with lace. I’ve seen so many beautiful lace gowns this season and this girl is smitten!
