As some of you lovelies might know, along with being a wedding photographer, I am also a college Professor. I absolutely love teaching photography and find it to be extremely rewarding! A couple years ago I had the privilege of teaching one of the most fun, super talented, and eager group of photographers for my school’s Adult Ed program. Most of these students have moved on to start their own wedding or family photography businesses, wowing their clients with their work and love for photography. Which makes me one proud teacher!! One of these lovely ladies (because actually, all of the students were women), Molly, of Molly Anne Photography asked me to shoot a wedding with her this past summer. We had SO MUCH FUN! Words can not describe how rewarding it was to watch someone you taught be out in the world doing exactly what she set out to do, follow her dreams of being a wedding photographer. Thank you for that experience Molly 🙂
As her second, I naturally started out with the guys.
Brian’s Dad helping him put on his cufflinks.
… and button his shirt. Needless to say I thought these moments were super adorable.
Some of the groomsmen …
Lauren and Brian planned to have a first look, so I had some extra time to snap a few of the guys while we waited for Lauren.
Their first look …
Such a beautiful and loving moment <3
Molly took advantage of their reactions when seeing each other and went right into portraits …
If you are thinking about hosting your wedding in Connecticut, check out Branford House it’s amazing!
Love this picture!
There is no denying that these two love each other … a lot!
A little fun caught during the bridal party pictures 🙂
The guys, looking super handsome!
Someone forgot their socks … no matter though, the guys still rocked all the awesome details planned for their attire! Like custom belt buckles, anchor socks, and purple plaid ties 🙂
While guests were being seated for the ceremony, I was able to grab some details 🙂
Mr. & Mrs. !!!
Since Lauren and Brian opted for a “First Look,” they were able to enjoy their entire cocktail hour, which was a great beginning to an awesome reception.
And final, to honor tradition, Brian and his fraternity brothers sang to Lauren … and it was hilarious!
Thank you Molly, for inviting me along to this amazing wedding! Wishing you many years of love, happiness and of course, continued success with your business 🙂
