Eastern Point Yacht Club Wedding | Jen + Jeremy

I met Jen and Jeremy two years ago at a family cookout.  You see, Jen is my fiance’s cousin.  (Yes, I said FIANCE!!  More on that later 🙂 )

Jen is such a warm, friendly, fun-loving, full-of-laughter kind of person and so we totally hit it off.  I was able to get to know Jeremy more during their engagement session, and let’s just say, they are a PERFECT MATCH!  So,  needless to say, when they asked me to be their wedding photographer, I was honored and thrilled!  As they planned their wedding and more details were discussed, I knew it was going to be an awesome wedding.  Let me assure you … they did not disappoint!!

I’m not sure you all are ready for this wedding feature.

Seriously!  I’ve laughed out loud, smiled until my face hurt, and even shed a few happy tears while editing this wedding.  Yes, it is true … I am a hopeless romantic and total sap for all things heart-felt, family oriented, and pretty to look at.  And that is exactly what Jen & Jeremy did!  Their wedding day was a beautiful representation of the love they share for each other and for the love they have for their family & friends.   Even as I prepare this blog post, I am smiling, ear to ear.

So, without further ado …

I started the day with Jen and her girls.

Eastern Point Yacht Club was a perfect venue to mix in some nautical themes with the details.

Jeremy orchestrated a beautiful and sweet moment for Jen via his sister.  Complete with music, special gift, and a very well written, heart-felt note.

You’ll see what I mean when I say that Jen thought of every possible detail as you continue through this post.  From “I Do” stickers for her shoes, to handwritten notes to her maids on theirs.

monogrammed robes … and beautiful flowers …

… a hand crafted treasure box for the rings … and not one, but TWO personalized hangers for her dress and veil!

Pure happiness in this picture!

Love this moment with Jen and her Mom.

PROOF that I am, in fact, hilarious!!  lol (This was caught by Chris, my intern for the day)

The American flag pin was in honor of Memorial Day and homage to her Mom’s love of pins!

Meanwhile, back at their beach house, Lexi was hanging with Jeremy and the guys!

Like Jeremy, Jen had her own surprise in store for her future hubby …

A BEER CAKE!!!  I think it was a hit 🙂

Yuengling … it’s a Pennsylvania thing … (where Jeremy is from)

Ceremony Details …love the sea grass Jen incorporated at the Church.

Meet Uncle Vin!  He’s Jen’s Uncle and an excellent trumpet player who played during the processional and recessional.

Love these shots Lexi caught of Jen as she entered the church!

Pure joy and love!

Awesome shot caught by Chris from the balcony!

It was at this point I think I finally broke and had a few tears in my eyes.   So much love!

If you can remember, Memorial Day weekend was super rainy.  That didn’t stop this awesome bridal party!!  Even their little ring bearer was into it 🙂

WOWZERS!!  You all rocked this!

While the ladies gave us the sass …

… the guys gave us their best James Bond impression 🙂

One of Jen’s bridesmaids came up with an awesome idea … each bridesmaid had a bouquet of flowers made from one kind of flower.  Then the florist took each different flower and incorporated it into Jen’s bouquet!

Meanwhile, the groomsmen were FREAKING OUT over Jeremy’s ring, lol!

Okay, I admit … I just couldn’t choose which bridesmaid picture I liked best!

Jen!  Your smile says it all!

holy hot tamale!!

You guys are too ah-dorable!

One of my favorites from the day!

Hugs for days!

Another favorite!

Gah!  Jen!  ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!??  Fabulous!

Yes, I bring at least 15 umbrellas to every wedding … all different shapes and sizes.  I’d say it’s worth it, wouldn’t you!?

🙂  My View …

and on the left, Lexi’s view!

As the cocktail hour was ending, EPYC had Jen and Jeremy fire off a canon to signal the start of the reception …

don’t let the size of the canon fool you … it was SUPER loud!

Take a moment to really explore all the creative details Jen and Jeremy had for their reception … you will be amazed!

I love it when a couple takes dancing lesson for their first dance debut.

More details …

There is a story behind the stamped cocktail napkins.  The next time you see Jeremy, you should ask him for the tricks of the trade.  Seeing as he personally, hand-stamped, all 600 napkins!!  Whoa!

Party time!!

The kids were amazing …

… so were friends …

… lots of fun …

… and dancing …

… even Grandpa joined in …

… but you know you’ve thrown an AMAZING party when the waitstaff also does a little shimmy of their own!

Jen & Jeremy … THANK YOU!  For all your planning, coordinating, crafting, imagining, and most of all … your love for each other.  I mean it when I say it was an honor and a joy to share in what will be one, of many, important moments in your lives together.  I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness.
